Los creadores del cancelado Shadow Moses han anunciado su nuevo proyecto compatible con la realidad virtual llamado The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid, que estará disponible en mayo y contará con la voz de David Hayter, actor de Solid Snake y Big Boss a excepción de Metal Gear Solid V.
Será de descarga gratuita, ya que los desarrolladores Airam Hernandez y Dan Meadowcroft dicen que no buscan beneficio económico, y mostrará niveles del primer Metal Gear Solid -aunque también podemos ver un escenario de MGS3-.
"El proyecto es un regalo, de los fans para los fans; compartir nuestro cariño por esta saga". Está planeado que piezas de arte de los jugadores aparezcan en el juego.
Shadow Moses iba a ser una recreación de Metal Gear Solid en Unreal Engine y se canceló el mes pasado "por razones fuera de nuestro control", según el equipo.
Born from the ‘Shadow Moses’ project, The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid is a first-person experience allowing fans the opportunity to revisit some of the most emblematic MGS levels in the form of a virtual museum. There will be no need for stealth this time around. The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid will feature many pieces of amazing fan art from devoted lovers of the series and our collaborators. As an unofficial, non-profit production, the project is a gift, from the fans, but also addressed to the fans; to share our affection for the seminal franchise. We are delighted to announce that the project, available for PC, will feature VR support.We can also reveal that non-other than the legendary David Hayter will be involved in the project, which we are overjoyed by!
