Bandai Namco ha anunciado Super Robot Wars V para PlayStation 4 y PlayStation Vita, juego que publicarán en 2017 en Japón y el resto del mercado asiático. Es poco probable, dada la trayectoria de la saga, que se lance en Europa o América.
Como es habitual, reúne robots de multitud de series japonesas, incluyendo The Brave Express Might Gaine o Space Battleship Yamato 2199, pasando por clásicos como Mazinger.
