La subasta por las marcas y propiedades intelectuales de THQ que no habían sido compradas en enero, cuando se hizo efectiva la liquidación de la empresa, se ha cerrado.
Aunque todavía no se ha hecho público el resultado, sí ha trascendido que han llegado un total de 17 ofertas cerradas y se estima que estas rondarán en total los 6-7 millones de dólares.
El proceso se ha basado en un sistema cerrado en el que las partes interesadas por adquirir el lote de propiedades intelectuales presentaban su oferta. La mayor oferta será la que se haga con ellas.
Por ahora solo se sabe que Sega se ha hecho con Homeworld, según desveló TeamPixel, pero falta por conocer el destino de Darksiders, Red Faction, Supreme Commander, MX y otras marcas de la desaparecida empresa.
