Nintendo ha publicado un libro titulado "Hyrule Historia" que, entre otras cosas, incluye la cronología oficial de la saga.
Aún no ha salido a la venta, pero ya se han filtrado las páginas que interesan.

La cosa quedaría así:

Como podéis comprobar, incluye una inesperada tercera línea temporal en la que Link no consiguió derrotar a Ganon en OoT.

Si no recuerdo mal, al final de MM sale Link sobre epona por los bosques perdidos otra vez. O sea, que sí que volvió a Hyrule.

No se sabe lo que pasó con Link después de Majora's Mask, incluso el libro lo dice.

En la última escena del ending, aparece en el mismo bosque que al principio (se supone que son los Bosques Perdidos). Acabo de confirmarlo en Youtube.

Se me acaba de ocurrir, que la tercera línea no necesariamente significa la muerte de Link, y esta línea sería el comienzo del juego, hasta tomar la master sword...me explico

Link obtiene la espada, por lo que Ganondorf se hace con la trifuerza.

Pasan 7 años, Link lucha contra Ganondorf, y salva a Hyrule. Esta sería la línea temporal de WW>PH>ST

Luego, Link regresa a su tiempo, antes de que Ganondorf obtenga la trifuerza, como se ve al final de OoT. Aquí alerta a Zelda del peligro y sería la linea de MM

La línea de Alttp y posteriores, se crearía al momento de que Link toma la espada y Ganondorf tiene el control de la trifuerza. Ahí link no está, pues ya se había dividido la línea temporal, y se encuentra en la de WW, mientras que la de MM, se crearía después que Link regresara.

Bueno, lo que queda claro es que aquellos que intentábamos sacar la cronología y dividirla en dos ramas (la de Link adulto que derrota a Ganondorf y la de Link niño que avisa a Zelda, ambos sucesos en OoT) nos hemos equivocado pero bien, ahora va Nintendo y nos sale con que hay una tercera rama que nadie se esperaba.  

Ese libro parece estar muy interesante, ¿ya se ha publicado en Japón? ¿creéis que puede haber alguna pequeña posibilidad de que lo traduzcan y lo traigan por estas tierras?, es que no dudaría en hacerme con él en caso de que lo publicaran aquí y traducido.  

Esa tercera linea temporal es un poco trollada porque Ganon vence pero aun asi es encerrado y encerrado ?

Para que esa linea temporal tuviera sentido faltaria un juego clave que seria la derrota de un Ganon que pudo derrotar a Link  :/

Woah. Inesperado, pero al mismo tiempo correcto en muchos sentidos.

Ahora, para que el final malo de OoT ocurra y posteriormente pase un A Link to the Past, necesitariamos otro juego en donde Ganon vuelve a ser apresado.

No esperaba que Four Sword Adventures se encontrase en la linea central, pero tampoco recuerdo algun evento muy importante en ese juego a tomar en cuenta.
