Zelda anniversary concert London date confirmed Zelda concert coming to the captial in October Nintendo has announced that a Legend Of Zelda 25th anniversary symphony concert will be held in London on 25 October. This will be the only Zelda concert in Europe and it will take place at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo. Ticket prices for the London concert start at £33.75 and will be available from 8 August 2011 from Ticketmaster. The concert will feature orchestral songs hand-picked by Nintendo composer Koji Kondo and his team. A 70-piece orchestra will be joined by a choir to perform new arrangements of a variety of songs from the series' 25-year history. The concerts will be produced by Jason Michael Paul, Inc., the producers of PLAY! A Video Game Symphony, which has toured the world performing music from video games. Nintendo has also confirmed that additional 25th anniversary activities will be announced throughout 2011. The first Legend Of Zelda 25th anniversary symphony concert will be held in America in October with a full tour due to take place across the country in 2012. "The Legend of Zelda series is famous for its beautiful music and we are thrilled to celebrate 25 years of memorable soundtracks from this iconic series by letting a symphony orchestra bring this music to life," said Laurent Fischer, Managing Director of Marketing & PR for Nintendo of Europe. "The symphony orchestra concert in London will allow fans from across Europe to come together and show their love for all things Zelda while enjoying a truly unique performance & experience."

Pues que lo dejaran en una gira americana y nos hacíamos las américas.

Que allí empieza en octubre en Los Ángeles y continúa con una gira por todo el país (Dios les libre de ir por todo el contienente) a lo largo de 2012.

Con el skyward sword nos regalaban el CD con el concierto, verdad? En ese caso, no me importa tanto no poder asistir (y podría, pero me coincide en fechas con otro evento...)

Pues a mi me sorprende, pasar por una ciudad europea no es hacer una gira. Puta mierda.

Nintendo está en banca rota, no le exijáis más gastos a la pobre.

Nintendo en la quiebra. Confirmado por Iwata que no vienen por más países europeos porque no puede pagarle personalmente los billetes a los músicos tras su reducción de sueldo.

Calma, calma. Sólo se hará en Londres... este año. En otoño se hace una mini-gira preliminar en Los Ángeles, Londres y Tokio. Luego en 2012 empieza la verdadera gira por todo el mundo, donde está por ver si vendrán a España o no, pero de momento lo que han anunciado sólo es para este año, así que tranquilos.

SDCC 2011: Zelda 25th Anniversary Concert Tour Details Nintendo recently gave out some basic information about the upcoming Zelda concert tour that was announced at E3. The tour will be hitting North America on October 21 at the Panages Theater in Los Angeles with ticket prices starting at $35. At Comic Con this past weekend, however, I had the chance to speak with Bill Trinen, a product marketing manager at Nintendo, regarding the concerts and got a few more details about the tour. As it turns out, the shows in October, referred to by Trinen as the “25th Anniversary concerts,” will hit Los Angeles, Tokyo, and an undetermined European city, and should be thought of as an entirely separate entity from the 2012 tour that will be headed up by JMP Productions. Kondo had already been planning the October shows, and it’s likely that the set lists will differ from the global tour that’s set to start in 2012.  It hasn’t been decided yet as to whether or not video screens will be featured as a part of the show or how long the tour will last, but Nintendo is at least committed to supporting it through 2012.
