E3 2011: Oddworld Comes to PlayStation Vita

Developer Just Add Water announced via Twitter the studio plans to release ports of Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath for PlayStation Vita this holiday. Both titles will feature cross-platform play cloud saves with the PlayStation 3 versions. A date and price point were not revealed.

Sorprendente el mensaje de Newell, no ya por el contenido sino por el oportunismo de quien lo ha capturado a tiempo.

Gasto mis últimos cartuchos de la noche:

- Grata noticia que Pixel Junk continúe expandiéndose, un juego de scroll lateral por parte de este estudio puede ser muy divertido.

- Gravity Daze y el juego de acción-sigilo ambientados en el Japón feudal molan.

- Recordemos que las remasterizaciones llegarán a PS3 en septiembre (ICO Collection incluida), conformando un lineup para el último cuatrimestre que estará liderado por Resistance 3, Twisted Metal y Uncharted 3.

Aparte del todopoderoso Uncharted, me ha dejado con la mandíbula desencajada en Resistance 3. Jugablemente y en diseño siempre me gustaron más que los KillZone y este gráficamente es completamente alucinante. Vaya pasada.

Tenía pánico por el precio de PSP Vita por no decirlo cuando la presentaron, pero al final fue un Epic Win, ni los más optimistas se aventuraban con un precio tan bueno. Aunque parezca mentira sale al precio de la 3DS.

Trailer que vimos en la conferencia pero con nombres, el juego 2D japones totalmente se llama Dragon Crown (3:30)

Casi nada. Nippon Ichi (¿nuevo Disgaea?), FromSoftware, CiberConnect, Level 5, Square Enix, Capcom, Epic, Take 2, etc.

Me deja intrigado esa referencia a una campaña online de Wipeout.

Gracias por el despliegue, Maestro. Shinobido y Dragon Crown son un soplo de aire fresco en estos tiempos de tonos grises.

Espectacular, si SF vs Tekken ya se perfilaba como un sueño para los amantes del género, disfrutarlo en una portátil tan basta como PSV será una delicia.

PD: Cole tiene ese toque anime que no sabría decir si le queda bien o mal. xd

Pues dejando de banda si el futuro promete o no (obviamente vienen cosas potentes, como los Uncharted), la conferencia ha sido una autentica basura. Ningun momento especialmente magico, todo muy previsible y hasta un poco de sensacion de teletienda cuando nos han intentado vender televisiones 3D (señores, esto es una conferencia de Sony Computer Entertainment, no de SONY).

Entre esto y Mr. Caffeine de Ubi, menudo dia que ha dado la feria. Para olvidar.

Acabo de despertarme (me voy a currar ahora) y veo que casi todo lo anunciado es para PsVita. Los anuncios para la nueva portátil me parecen increibles (precio incluido). Eso sí, hay que tener en cuenta que la 3DS, que sale al mismo precio, no está vendiendo tanto como se esperaba. Pero el catálogo de la Vita me parece algo mejor (aunque falta por saber qué juegos tendrá de lanzamiento).

¿Se ha anunciado algo para Ps3 que no se sepa?

Today during Sony's 2011 Electronic Entertainment Expo media briefing, the company officially re-branded the NGP the Vita and listed off a range of new games for it, including Sega's Virtua Tennis 4. Now, Sega has offered more information on the portable tennis entry. Virtua Tennis 4 for the Vita is currently being developed the original Virtua Tennis creators in Japan. It will be the third tennis entry to launch alongside new Sony hardware, following PSP and PlayStation 3 Virtua Tennis launch titles. As for the title, Virtua Tennis 4 for the Vita will boast 22 ATP stars, including Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, and Novak Djokovic. Further, in addition to touch screen support, Virtua Tennis for the Vita will let gamers use "classic" pad controls. In addition, Virtua Tennis 4 for the Vita will make use of Sony's camera, allowing gamers to snap a photo of their face and slap it on a character in the game.
