A virtually identical guide for Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City has also

Unfortunately, the Prima guides, like virtually all player's guides, contain
some mistakes. The following is an attempt to list these mistakes with
relevant correct information:
page 4, under "Importing a Wild World Life," it says "...helping you bring
items over from your DS." This might mislead readers into thinking that items
can be transferred from ACWW to ACCF. This is not possible.
page 16, under "Personal Donation Gifts," it says, "500,000 Bells" for a
fountain. The additional amount to donate to build a fountain is only 400,000
bells.
page 16, under "Personal Donation Gifts," it says you get the Feathers by
donating to the Town Fund. You get the Feathers from depositing bells into
your ABD Savings account.
page 17, under "ABD Machine," it says, "You must carry [this Shopping Card] in
your pockets to make deposits or withdrawals." You do not need the Shopping
Card to make deposits or withdrawals.
page 17, under "Deposit Gifts," the Box of Tissues requires deposits of 100,000
bells, not "10,000."
page 17, under "Deposit Gifts," the Piggy Bank requires deposits of 10,000,000
bells, not "1,000,000."
page 19, under "Store Upgrades," the requirements to trigger the upgrades are
incorrect. Here is correct information:
1) To obtain Nook 'n' Go:
a) 30,000 bells in transactions at Nook's Cranny, and
b) Nook's Cranny must be open for a minimum of eight days
2) To obtain Nookway:
a) 80,000 bells in transactions at Nook 'n' Go, and
b) Nook 'n' Go must be open for a minimum of 15 days
3) To obtain Nookington's:
a) 150,000 bells in transactions at Nookway, and
b) Nookway must be open for a minimum of 22 days
4) Both buying and selling counts toward the transaction thresholds.
page 24, under "Running Errands," it says, "[Villagers] might even ask you to
visit another neighbor and get something back that belongs to them." Villagers
will never ask you to retrieve something from another villager.
page 26, under "Maintaining Your Garden," it says, "...give your saplings and
flowers a good watering..." Watering saplings does nothing.
page 26, under "Maintaining Your Garden," it says, "If you see your trees and
flowers turn brown and wither..." Trees will never turn brown and wither.
page 27, under "Caution," it says, "Don't run near flowers and saplings; you
might ruin them!" Running over saplings does nothing.
page 28, under "Gyroids," it says, "...you may also unearth other random prizes
with the shovel, such as furniture." Furniture items never appear randomly
buried in the ground.
page 28, under "Golden Shovel," it says, "Wait four days and then dig up the
shovel..." The buried Shovel turns golden at 6am on the following day, not
four days later.
page 30, under "Slingshot Antics," it says, "...Mario series..." There is no
Mario Series in ACCF. There is, however, a Mario Theme.
pages 38 and 39, under "Redd's Exclusive Furniture," the purchase prices listed
are one half of what you need to pay Crazy Redd to buy the items.
page 41, under "Tom Nook," it says, "...his two nephews, Timmy and Tommy."
Timmy and Tommy are not related to Tom Nook.
page 41, under "Tortimer's Gifts," it omits the Leaf, available during April
Fool's; the Roman Candle, available during the Fireworks Show; the Knife and
Fork, available during the Harvest Festival; and the Party Popper, available
during Countdown.
page 43, under "Jack's Gifts (No Candy)," the four items can be obtained at any
time and in any order from Jack.
page 43, under "Jingle's Gifts," it says, "Festive" under "Series." There is
no Festive Series in ACCF. There is, however, a Jingle Series.
page 43, under "K.K. Slider," it fails to mention that three songs can be
obtained only by request: Spring Blossoms, Stale Cupcakes, and Wandering.
page 44, under "Katie and Kaitlin," it says, "The player who helps Katie or
Kaitlin find her way home will receive one of the special rewards..." Only
Katie can be escorted home.
page 44, under "Pascal's Gifts," it says, "Pirate" under "Series." There is no
Pirate Series in ACCF. There is, however, a Pirate Theme.
page 45, under "Pave's Gifts," it says, "Festivale" under "Series." There is
no Festivale Series in ACCF. There is, however, a Pave Series.
page 45, under "Pete," it says, "...you might run into him from 9:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m...." Pete appears only from 9am to 9:30am and from 5pm to 5:30pm.
page 46, under "Snowman's Gifts," it says, "Snowman" under "Series" for the
Snowman. The Snowman furniture item is not part of the Snowman Series.
page 46, under "Wendell's Gifts," it says, "Horz. street" under the gift
received for the Barbel Steed. When you give Wendell a Barbel Steed, you
receive the Vertical Path pattern.
page 46, under "Wendell's Gifts," it says, "Horizontal track" under the gift
received for the "Butterfly." When you give Wendell a Butterflyfish, you
receive the Vertical Track pattern.
page 46, under "Wendell's Gifts," it says, "Vert. street" under the gift
received for the Carp. When you give Wendell a Carp, you receive the
Horizontal Path pattern.
page 47, under "Wendell's Gifts (continued)," it says "Coloring Blanca" under
the gift received for a Peach. When you give Wendell a Peach, you receive the
Coloring Rover pattern.
page 47, under "Wendell's Gifts (continued)," it says "Vertical track" under
the gift received for the Sea Bass. When you give Wendell a Sea Bass, you
receive the Horizontal Track pattern.
page 47, under "Wendell's Gifts (continued)," it says "Horizontal track" under
the gift received for the "Surgeon." When you give Wendell a Surgeonfish, you
receive the Vertical Track pattern.
page 47, under "Wisp," it says, "Wisp may turn up in your town during the wee
hours..." This is misleading because Wisp can appear as early as 8pm.
page 49, under "Cats," it says Tabby's birthday is "August 8." Tabby
celebrates her birthday on August 13.
page 57, under "Neighbors' Birthdays," it says, "Hand your neighbor a gift on
their birthday; they will be really pleased and will stay in your town..." You
cannot give a villager a birthday present on their Birthday.
page 59, under "Fishing Tourney," it says, "6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m." The Fishing
Tourney starts at 9:00 a.m.
page 61, under "Special Events," it says, "Bean Day" for February 3. The event
is Setsubun or Beginning of Spring, not Mamemaki (Bean Throwing Festival).
page 61, under "Fishing Tourney," it says, "6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m." The Fishing
Tourney starts at 9:00 a.m.
page 61, under "Festivale," it says "6:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m." Pave appears

This event occurs on the Second Saturday.

Limited Time items (Festive Tree, Big Festive Tree, Festive Candle, and Festive
Flag) are available from December 1 to December 31. One, chosen randomly from
the four, appears in the store each day.
page 81, under "New Year's Eve Countdown," it says, "Have you visited Tortimer
for your special T-shirt?" Tortimer does not hand out a special T-shirt on
December 31.
page 82, under "Attic," it shows a room with a size of 4x4. The attic is 3x4.
page 82, under "2nd Floor," it shows a room with a size of 4x4. The upstairs
room is 6x6.
page 82, under "Basement," it shows a room with a size of 4x4. The basement is
8x8.
page 84, under "Lucky Items," it says you get the Jack-in-the-Box by "[having]
Jack play three tricks on you." You might receive the Jack-in-the-Box by
withholding candy only one time.
page 84, under "Lucky Items," it says you get the Piggy Bank by "[depositing]
100,00 bells." You receive the Piggy Bank after depositing 10,000,000 bells
into your ABD Savings account.
page 84, under "Lucky Items," the list omits the Lucky Clover.
page 84, under "Note," it says, "...but you'll only score points for one series
or theme per room." You always score Basic points for every item in your house,
including one or more Series or Themes.
page 114, it says "Mossy Garden Theme." The name of this Theme is the Backyard
Theme.
page 118, it says "Classroom Theme." There is no Classroom Theme in ACCF.
There is, however, a Classroom Set, comprised of the Right Platform, Left
Platform, Podium, Teacher's Desk, Teacher's Chair, School Desk, School Chair,
Cubby Hole, Chalk Board, Lefty Desk, and Righty Desk. The Mop, Skeleton,
Anatomical Model, Clear Model, Hamster Cage, and Science Table are not part of
any Theme or Set.
pages 120 to 135, several items identified as Sets are not actually Sets.
Similarly, several actual Sets are not properly identified.
