SEGA VISION PARA 2009

Earlier today a story surfaced claiming that Sega would be launching a "PSP beater" in 2009 by the name of the Sega Vision. We were more than a little skeptical about this story, so we decided to get in touch with representatives at Sega USA to check if the rumor is true, and if the Sega Vision is intended as a re-entry into the handheld videogames sector. Sega's response was clear and concise - "The Sega Vision is a real device, a spokesperson said, "But it is not intended as a re-entry to the gaming hardware market or a rival to Sony or Nintendo's systems." "Sega is committed to remaining a software third party in the videogames industry, but also has several non-games products in the market. The Vision is primarily an MP4 video player with some basic games functionality, and not a new handheld gaming machine. That clears that up, then. Sega seems quite content with the business they're currently doing in the videogames software sector, and at this minute has no interest in becoming a contender in hardware once again. Further investigation on our part finds the Sega Vision isn't actually a Sega-developed device at all, and in fact a cheap Chinese iPod-style alternative, rebranded with the name of the fallen hardware company. The 'games' functionality that is referred to is actually Java games, like those on a mobile phone. The Sega Vision is not a PSP beater. It's not even a dedicated gaming device. F

Parece que Tenchu 4 (hasta ahora para Wii) también saldría en más sistemas, según Classification Board.

Siliconera pensó que podía ser una errata, pero dice que un miembro del staff le comunicó que trabaja en Tenchu 4 PSP. No deja de ser un rumor que podría confirmarse en el TGS.

The OFLC just rated Tenchu 4 and in the land down under it’s considered as a multiplatform game. Most Wii exclusives like the recently rated We Cheer are rightfully only listed as a Nintendo Wii game. Tenchu 4 is not. This news comes after we had an e-mail exchange with a member of the Tenchu 4 staff who told us they were working on “Tenchu 4 PSP”. I wrote this news off as a typo, but with the OFLC listing Tenchu 4 as a multiplatform game I think this was an accidental leak to us. Also possibly related is Acquire’s Tokyo Game Show line up. Tenchu 4 is on there, of course, Dungeons & Dam is underneath it sitting right on top of an unannounced game. Perhaps, this slot will be used for a Tenchu 4 PSP port.

Nuevo juego de Irem para PSP

Aparte de los ya anunciados,hoy han anunciado otro que estara en el TGS. El juego en cuestion es  Narisokonai Eiyutan: Taiyou to Tsuki no Monogatari y de momento no hay mas detalles.

Japanese video game developer Irem apparently has not one, not two, but three games for the PSP to be showcased in this year's Tokyo Game Show. We've already told you about Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3 (Disaster Report 3), which just recently had its official website rolled out. Another Irem game, Narisokonai Eiyutan: Taiyou to Tsuki no Monogatari, has also gotten the same treatment. This new game will be at the Irem booth at TGS 2008, along with Sengoku Efuda Yuugi: Hototogisu Ran and Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3. We don't have a lot of details about this one yet, but it's reportedly a "heart to heart RPG". Me encanta el video de Cave Story  

Ojala que se anime mas la cosa en Wiiware, que lleva unos meses flojeando bastante en cuanto a calidad.

En cuanto al Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, espero que se busquen las formulas que quieran, pero este titulo tiene que llegar a las Wii's europeas, sea como sea.

Me gusta muchismo todo lo que rodea a SFIV, pero he de reconocer que si tuviera que quedarme con uno...

Las imagenes del tomb raider estan chulisimas, creo que será el primer tomb raider que compre y no porqué no me gustaran los otros, simplemente no me pillaron en un buen momento . Pero bueno, tengo ganas de un juego aventurero y como no puedo tener el uncharted... XD

No pintaba mal el Tomb Raider, hasta que he visto a Lara blandiendo un arma como si de un Soul Calibur se tratase.

Lo mantengo en cuarentena.
